About the association
Korea Bangladesh Education Council
KOBAEC is a membership association of Bangladeshi education consultancy agencies that work with students seeking admission to universities in the Republic of Korea — covering programme selection, application processing and visa documentation.
The association exists because the consultancy market between Bangladesh and Korea has grown faster than any shared standard of practice. Students commit substantial family savings on the strength of an agency's word, and until now there has been no reliable way to check that word. KOBAEC member agencies operate under published policies, accept a binding code of conduct, and remain subject to a formal complaints and disciplinary process.
Mission
To establish and enforce professional, ethical and operational standards among Bangladeshi education consultancy agencies working with Korean institutions — so that students receive honest counsel, universities receive reliable applications, and legitimate agencies are distinguishable from those that are not.
Vision
A Bangladesh–Korea education corridor in which every student can verify who they are dealing with before they pay, every Korean institution can identify a credible local partner, and membership of KOBAEC is understood as a meaningful mark of accountability rather than a logo.

What the association does
Standards, verification and enforcement
Sets standards
The executive committee adopts and maintains the policies governing recruitment, advertising, document handling, financial conduct and student transfer. Every version is archived; nothing is silently rewritten.
Verifies membership
Each member holds a unique membership ID that any student, parent or university can check against live status and good standing — before money changes hands, not after.
Enforces conduct
Complaints follow a defined process with evidence, response, hearing and written decision. Outcomes are recorded permanently and can include suspension or termination.
Membership
Who can join
Membership is open to registered Bangladeshi education consultancy agencies working on Korean admissions and visa processing.

- A verifiable physical office that students can visit.
