Why KOBAEC exists

Study-abroad decisions deserve accountable agencies

Students and their families commit years of savings on the strength of an agency's word. KOBAEC exists so that word can be checked — and so that agencies who break it face consequences.

Published standards

Every member agency accepts a written code of conduct, recruitment policy and advertising policy. Each acceptance is recorded against the exact policy version, with a timestamp.

Verifiable membership

Any student, parent or university can confirm an agency's membership ID, current status and good-standing in seconds — before any money changes hands.

Real consequences

Complaints follow a formal process: investigation, evidence, hearing, decision. Outcomes range from a notice to suspension or termination of membership, and are permanently recorded.

Apply for KOBAEC membership

Membership is open to registered Bangladeshi education consultancy agencies working on Korean admissions and visa processing. Applications are reviewed against documentation, business standing and conduct history before approval.

    Submit the application

    Company details, owner information and supporting documents — trade licence, TIN, company registration and owner identification.

    Review and interview

    The secretariat verifies documents. Applicants may be asked for clarification or invited to an interview with the executive committee.

    Approval and onboarding

    On approval you receive a membership ID, a public directory listing, a downloadable certificate and access to the member portal.
