Reporting a verification concern
If an agency is claiming KOBAEC membership that the verification tool does not confirm, or the details shown do not match the agency you are dealing with, tell us. Include the agency name, the membership ID claimed, and where you saw the claim.
How to reach us
Email is the fastest route and creates a written record, which matters if your enquiry later becomes a formal complaint. Include your name, contact number and — where relevant — the agency name and membership ID.

What KOBAEC can and cannot do
We can
- — Confirm whether an agency holds current membership.
- — Investigate conduct by a member agency under our policies.
- — Issue warnings, suspend or terminate a membership.
- — Publish standards that members must follow.
We cannot
- — Influence a university admission decision.
- — Influence or expedite a visa decision or embassy appointment.
- — Act against an agency that is not a KOBAEC member.
- — Recover money on your behalf; that is a matter for the courts.
